Nicola Hancox began painting at an early age, inspired by her Grandfather's love of art. She studied Art at Walsall College of Art, and then at Leicester Polytechnic, where she gained a BA Honours Degree in Interior / Three-Dimensional Design. Her professional career began in Birmingham as an Architectural Technician, and she moved to the Cambridge area in 1982. It was here that she was able to devote time to her painting, and to develop her successful handmade greetings card business. Her great passion, however, has always been Watercolours, on which she has focused in recent years. Nicola has exhibited in many galleries and exhibitions in East Anglia and the Midlands, and has completed a large number of commissions. Her work has been on exhibition at Gallery Tresco, on the Isles of Scilly, since 1999. Following her successes in 1999 and 2000, Nicola was invited to produce a new collection for her own Exhibition at Gallery Tresco in April 2001. The following year she exhibited her New Collection there from February 2002. Her very Latest Collection will be available at Gallery Tresco from March 2003. In 2003, Nicola has also released her first Limited Edition Prints. And there will be more to follow! You can contact Nicola directly ... just click here: e-mail Nicola Click Back
